Explore Bako National Park
Taman Negara Bako is Malaysia's oldest national park, nestled on the Muara Tebas peninsula in Sarawak. Accessible only by boat from Kuching, it protects 27 km² of ancient rainforest, dramatic sea cliffs, pristine beaches, 16 distinct vegetation zones, and some of Southeast Asia's rarest wildlife — including the iconic proboscis monkey found nowhere else on Earth.
